It is now America’s Denmark moment. We need to call out evil and stand up against it. For if we are kind when we should be harsh, in the end we will be harsh when we should be kind.
Mohamed Sabry Soliman in the streets of Boulder, Colorado, USA decided to throw molotov cocktails and use a makeshift flame thrower against a small crowd, who were quietly walking to bring awareness to what Mohamed supports.
What does Mohamed support?
Mohamed threw it at a small group who walk weekly to remind the world of hostages taken from their homes, during a brutal attack, that included burning babies, gang raping women until their pelvises broke and shooting family dogs. Mohamed’s brutal attack burned and injured 13 people ranging in age from 52 to 88- one a holocaust survivor.
He justifies his actions. But we can not accept any justification for his actions or we will lose who we are as Americans.
If We Do Not Remember History, We Are Doomed to Repeat It.
During World War II, King Christian X of Denmark along with many Danes, resisted the Nazis to protect their Jewish citizens. Today, he is a symbol of national pride and courage as together with the people of Denmark, the Danes maintained their identity rather than be run over by the Nazis. If we do not remember history, we are doomed to repeat it.
Weekly walks happen all over our country to remind people of hostages brutally kidnapped from their homes on October 7th in a rampage of fire and flames that burned down community after community. This is what Mohamed supports. This is what Israel is fighting against. Israel is on the frontlines of this brutality. And now… this is what Mohamed brings to the streets of Boulder, Colorado, USA.
